Eligibility |
Academic: A pass in any recognized Bachelor’s Degree of
minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics
at 10+2 level, OR a pass in any recognized regular Bachelor’s
Degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline with
Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects, OR A pass in BCA
Degree of minimum three years duration from a recognized
University.
Nativity: Candidate should
be an Indian National.
NOTE: Candidates who are
appearing / have appeared for the qualifying examination this
year are also eligible to apply for the Entrance Examination
subject to the condition that the original mark list of all
parts the qualifying examination shall be produced by the
candidate at the time of allotment.
Reservation of Seats: Reservation for Persons with
Disabilities (PWD): 3% percent seats in every Government and
Aided Colleges are reserved for persons with disabilities and
Orthopaedically Handicapped candidates.
Mandatory Reservation: Seats are reserved for Scheduled
Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Socially and Educationally Backward
Classes as per the existing reservation principles of the
Government.
Entrance Examination: The Entrance Examination will be
conducted at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Kozhikode on
20-07-2008 (Sunday). It will be of 2 hours duration and will
consist of 150 Objective Type Questions covering the following
areas of study at graduate level:
(a) Mathematics (b) Statistics (c) Physics (d) Chemistry (e)
General Knowledge (f) General English and (g) Fundamentals of
Computer Awareness |

How To Apply |
Application Form: Prospectus and application form will be
available in the official website of the Commissioner for
Entrance Examinations at “cee-kerala.org”. There will be
separate application for SC/ST and general candidates.
Candidates seeking admission to this course can apply in the
prescribed format , after downloading the same from the website
, along with necessary documents and a Demand Draft ( Rs.800/-
for general candidates and RS.400/- for SC/ST candidates and
those eligible for SC/ST benefits) drawn on a Nationalized Bank,
in favour of The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable
at Thiruvananthapuram

forms:
Completed application with all the required documents should
reach the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board
Buildings, 5th Floor, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram – 695
001,either by Registered post or by hand delivery on or before 5
pm on 30.06.2008 (Monday). Belated, incomplete and defective
applications will be summarily rejected and no correspondence
will be undertaken in this regard.
Institutional Allotment: The Institutional allotment will
be made by Commissioner for Entrance Examinations in accordance
with the rank obtained by the candidates in the Entrance
Examination and the order of preference of Institutions given by
the candidates at the time of Centralized Allotment. Candidates
need not submit their preference for Institutions in the
application form. Candidates will neither be allowed to include
any information in the application form nor to submit any
certificates / documents claiming reservation or any benefits,
after the submission of the application, under any
circumstances. Candidates must note that they have to obtain the
required certificates in the body of the application form
itself, wherever specified. The certificates that are attached
separately in the application form will not be considered under
any circumstances. Applicants must go through the various
provisions related to Entrance Examination , course eligibility,
distribution of seats, reservation etc given in Prospectus 2008,
approved by the Government and available in the official website
of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations at “cee-kerala.org”,
before submitting the application form.
